With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Jean Patton of Winchester, Tennessee, born in Rogersville, Alabama, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Fuqua Hill; her husband John Patton Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Cliff, Joe Hill and Sammy Davis.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Patton Jr. (Iris), Evelyn Patton, Jeffery Patton (Jenita), Kathy M. Gilliam (Richard) and Robert L. Patton (Roxanne); her siblings, Barbara Blackwell (Mike), Gladys Stovall, Alice Davis, John Hill (Gale) and Juliette L. Taylor; and her grandchildren, John Patton III, Ashely Patton McFall, Justin Gilliam, Tiffany Gilliam, Briana Trulick, Jaylon Patton, Jeffery Patton, Jeremy Patton, Andrea Taylor, Chasity Patton, Gehrig Jackson, Dedrick Middlebrook and Ortega Elam. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
