He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude William and Rosa Lee Butler (Stephens); his siblings, Evelyn Lewis, George Butler and Jeff Butler; and his stepmother Sarah Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Butler; his children, Sherman Hargrove, Sean Butler (Tracy), Shelley Wells (Kenneth) and Sacha Curtis (Kenny); his grandchildren, Chelsea Hargrove, Peyton Hargrove, Baily Hornback (Brad), Keaton Moore (Fletcher), Jacy Butler, Layton Wells (Kayla) and Guess Crow; his great grandchildren, Mason, Kingzli, Rhyslei, Winter, Milo, Maci and Aurora; his siblings, John Butler (Sandra), Joyce Parrelli (Patrick) and Regina Robertson (Scott); and his stepbrother Michael Phillips (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
