He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mitchell and Anna Petty; and his sister Helen Petty. He is survived by: his daughters, Candice Benitez and Jami Petty; and his grandchildren, Mindy, Meigan, Kinsley Benitez, Zoë and Garrett Petty.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (96 Clair St, Tracy City, TN 37387). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
