Rittenhouse and Edna Mae Clark (Bell); his stepfather Clarence Ives Clark; his grandfathers, Carlton Leona Bell and Joseph Joe Bell; his sisters, Shirley Ann Mears and Edna Laverne Smith; his granddaughter Chasdy Renea Reed; and his great grandchild Blakelynn Austin Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Ina Marie Rittenhouse; his children, Edna Patillo (Allan) of Decherd, Melissa Ann Smith of Decherd, Harold Joe Rittenhouse of Manchester and Donald Rittenhouse (Tiffiney) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Alex Langford, Kevin Langford, Mikey Langford (Jennifer), Douglas Reed (Amanda), Luke Reed (Amanda), Jennie Mae Williamson, Etta Rittenhouse, Maryse Rittenhouse, Spencer Allen (Courtney) and Patricia Patillo; and his siblings-in-law, Tracey Bohanan of Winchester, Vickie Thompson of Winchester Springs, Jill Brown of Flintville, Anita Counts of Pelham, Coby Partin of Winchester, Darrell Partin of Winchester Springs and Carl Partin (Linda) of Tullahoma. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
