He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Barnes and Jennie Barnes Sr. (Walls); and his brothers, Bill Barnes of Roy Barnes, J. W. Barnes, Jess Barnes and Doc Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Barnes; his children, Mark Barnes and Lisa Hale (Derrick); his siblings, Alva Johnson and Joe Barnes (Carol); his grandchildren, Darian Barnes and Daci Barnes; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Emberton and Emma Swafford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home & Memorial Park (405 Sharp Springs Rd, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
