He is survived by: his wife Penny Davis Mathis of Winchester; his children, Amanda Hall (Todd) of Hillsboro, Misty Mathis of Manchester, Daniel Mathis of Manchester, Anthony "Tony" Coker of Winchester and Nathan Coker (Amanda) of Winchester; his sister Wanda Painter (Larry) of Estill Springs; his grandchildren, Alyssa Mathis, Gavin Brewer, Kenadi Hall, Madelynn Mathis and Kallie Coker; and his great grandchildren, Daxden Sullivan and Oaklynn Sullivan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
