He is survived by: his parents, Elbert Henry Gipson and Harley Gipson (Gilliam); his wife Peggy Gipson of Decherd; his stepchildren, Mickey (Diane), Tony Gipson (Jackie) of Winchester, Lisa Sissom (Lyle) of Winchester and Amy Wingo (Robert) of Goodlettsville; his grandchildren, Grant Gipson (Maggie), Hannah Gipson, Kayla Gipson, Clara Grace and GiGi Wingo; his brother Gary Gipson (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Clarice Gipson and Pete Woods. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
