It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Wayne Cox (Winchester, Tennessee), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adline Lee (Attie) and Doyle Sheppard Cox; and his siblings, Calvin J. Cox, Harold Cox, Betty Jean Cox and Grace McNeil.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbye Cox; his sons, Doyle, Darren and Alex; his grandchildren, Abigail Chapman, Sophia Cox of Murfreesboro, Dalton, Dylan Cox of Brentwood and Eva Lee Cox of Portland, Oregon; his great grandchildren, Adley Mae and John Doyle Chapman of Murfreesboro; and his siblings, Naomi and Roy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
