He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Jones and Mary Ann Jones (Bailey); his wife Vernie Garner Jones; and his sisters, Edith Jones and Betty Ann Jones Ellis.
He is survived by: his nieces, Mary Thorne and Marie Bailey; and his nephew Tony Puckett (Evelyn). He is also survived by great-nieces, great nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
