He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Alan Mantle and Elsie Mantle (Maire); his wife Shirley Mantle (Rieben); his siblings, Dorothy Wuelling (Frank), Laverne Kiesker (Cliff) and Ruby Scarpace (Phil); his daughter Loretta Steele (Bobby); and his grandson Benjamin Michael Whitworth (Gregory Alan Posey).
He is survived by: his daughter Delma Posey; his grandsons, Kristopher Del Posey and Joseph Daniel Whitworth; his great grandchild Julia Dream Whitworth; his stepdaughter Melaine Brown (James); his brother Virgil Mantle (Linda); and his nephew Roger Wuelling (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
