He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Fitzpatrick; his siblings, Rufus, Carl, Theron, Walter, James, Leonard, Laura Mae, Anna Frances and Margaret; his children, Tony Taylor (Jimmie Cheryl), Reneé Wray (John) and Marcus Taylor, Sr. (Darla); his grandchildren, Tavarus Taylor, Monteil Taylor, LaToya Taylor, Edwin Lane (Brittany), Nicholas Taylor, Jordan Wray, Labeija Wray, Shardasia Algood, Marcus Taylor, Jr., Zhané Wray and Nathaniel Taylor; his great grandchildren, Antonio Taylor, Courtney Sommerville and Kehli Stevens; and his siblings, Juanita Vanzant, Doris Valentine (Rufus), Elder Edward Lee Taylor (Carlene), Bobby Taylor (Emma Jean), Charles Taylor (Beverly) and Bruce Alexander. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home & Memorial Park (405 Sharp Springs Rd, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
