He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Schmitz and Judith Schmitz (Lyon). He is survived by: his wife Lynn Schmitz; his children, Sam Schmitz (Rebecca), Will Schmitz (Amber) and Matt Schmitz (Caitlin Hobbs); his grandchildren, Cole, Harlie, Elyse, Caroline and Vivian; his pets, Luna and Murphy; and his siblings, Kurt Schmitz (Peggy) and Heidi Sack (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
