She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Stewart and Annie Mae Stewart (McBee); her husband Billy Jake Owens; her son Dennis Lee Owens; and her siblings, Ona Belle Jernigan, Jean Ray, Corrine Sanders, Catherine Campbell, Carlton Stewart, Hobart Stewart and Bobby Joe Stewart.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Sienna Owens; her children, Bill Owens (Sharon) of Winchester, Ben Owens (Dorothy) of Huntland, Joe Owens (Sadie) of Winchester, Brenda Summers (Randy) of Sherwood, Sandra Glowe (Greg) of Warsaw and Johnny Owens (Lynn) of Winchester; and her sisters, Betty Partin of Decherd and Nancy Ellis of Cowan. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and step-grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren.
