We bid farewell to Wilber Cleveland Joyner of Williston, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Wilber Cleveland touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cleveland Joyner and James Zethra Woodard Joyner; his wife Cleta Mae Rhea Joyner; his son Danny Joyner; his siblings, Gussie Spicer, Bertha Bobbitt, Birdie Bobbitt, Henry Joyner, Vance Joyner, Herschel Joyner and Willard Joyner; and his grandson Matthew David Joyner.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Joyner (Ola) of Williston, TN, Gary Joyner (Paula) of Somerville, TN and Jason Joyner of Williston, TN; his brothers, Hillard Joyner of Tupelo, MS and Morris Joyner of Paris, TN; and his grandchildren, Cindy Armour, Crystal Isom, Tonya Siders, Duane Joyner, Brandon Bishop, LaDonna Roberts, Taylor Kimery, Greyson Joyner and Carson Joyner. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel (18020 US-64, Somerville, TN 38068). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
