David Hicks Lillard Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2023, at the age of 93, David Hicks Lillard Sr. of Williston, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Lee Lillard and Mabel Hicks Lillard; his grandparents, Hughley Alexander Hicks, Eugenia Jones Hicks and Street of Washington; his wife Betty Gayle McKay of Keiser; his son Todd Hampton Lillard; his brother Hampton Lillard; his son-in-law John B. Bates; his siblings, Louisa Lillard and Col. Joseph K. Lillard; his children, David H. Lillard, Jr. and Robin Lillard Bates of Fayette County; and his grandchildren, Scott Lillard, Brooke Lillard, Juliana Bates and Elise Bates Caldwell. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in David's memory to the Fayette County Animal Rescue, where he loved to adopt his canine best friends.
