She is survived by: her husband Charles Wesley Uptain; her daughters, Anna Elizabeth Uptain (Beth Steele) of Maryville, TN and Doris Jane Al-Amery (Sadiq) of Williamsport; her siblings, Robert Taylor Dugger, III (Betty) of Dickson and Alice Elizabeth Elliott (Jim) of Murfreesboro; and her grandchildren, Emmalyn Wauford Lipe (Garrett) of Illinois, Wesley Ryan Wauford (Jean) of Columbia and Alleah Al-Amery of Nashville. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
