He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herschel Boehms and Mary Jane Nichols Boehms; and his siblings, Evelyn Ruth Boehms Norton, Lanelle Boehms Dodson, Wilma Boehms Cake, Jane Boehms Smith and Jeff Henry Boehms.
He is survived by: his wife Mattie Pearl Puckett Boehms of Williamsport; his sons, Dennis Boehms (Tammy) of Brentwood and Henry Boehms (Lisa) of Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Richard Boehms (Lindsay Newsom) and Lauren (Jeremy).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Little Lot United Methodist Church (6779 Coke Cir, Lyles, TN 37098). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Little Lot Cemetery (6784 Little Lot Cemetery Rd, Lyles, TN 37098).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made in Joe's name to the Shady Grove Community Center, c/o Richard Shepler, P.O. Box 269, Duck River, Tennessee 38454 McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville is honored to be serving the Boehms Family during this difficult time.
