It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Jackson (Williamsport, Tennessee), who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jackson, Sr. and Frances Rebecca Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Delore Jackson of Williamsport; his children, James Mitchell Scates of Centerville, LaQuita Lockridge of Cleveland, OH, Daphne Braden of Columbia, Clabie Pillow, Albretha Ennis (Larry), Janice Brown (Kerry) and Teresa Brooks; his brother George H. Jackson (Nadine) of Columbus, GA; his grandchildren, Rodney D. Lockridge (Rakita), Raven Lockridge, Raquel Lockridge, Riley Lockridge and Rolanda Brown; his great grandchildren, Eboni Brown, Evari Wisener, Rodney K. Lockridge, Reison Lockridge and Kaydence Wade; his cousins, James Walter Cooper, Charolotte Davis and Craig Cooper; his niece Tracy Jackson Lewis (Roderick) of Charlotte, NC; his nephew Vincent C. Jackson of San Juan, PR; and also, Shantell Kennedy and Jaz Bellafant. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
