He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Shipp and Alethia Shipp. He is survived by: his children, Fredrick James Shipp Jr. and Andrea Birdsong; his siblings, Jackie Ray Shipp (Debbie), Michael Shipp, Howard Edward Shipp (Elizabeth), Cordell Shipp (Dollie) and Theresa Blake (David); his grandchildren, Ayana Weaver, Fredrick Shipp III (Trey), Jayla Birdsong, Miller Shipp and Remy Mooreland; the mother of his children Kimberly Shipp; and his stepchildren, Haley Hall (Austin) and Jordan Mooreland. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the Poplar Creek Cemetery.
