He was predeceased by: his parents, Estes Jowers and Earlie Woods Jowers; and his siblings, Louverne Wilkes, Nadine Austin, Helen Parker, Charles Jowers and Lynn Jowers.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Woods Jowers; his sons, Jimmy Jowers (Marilyn) of Lexington and Rodney Jowers (Carol) of Lexington; his sister Mary Ethel Devoreof Saltillo; and his grandchildren, Jordan Jowers, Dallas Jowers and Dakota Jowers. He is also survived by numerous brother and sister-in laws.
The family requests anyone attending the visitation or funeral service wear a mask and practice social distancing.
