He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Shipley and Elsie Shipley; his brother Leroy Shipley; and his brothers-in-law, Bobby Richardson and Johnny Hennessee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clema Richardson of Jasper, Jean Hennessee, Annette Rollins (Rick) of Whitwell, Sue Narramore (Joe), Tammy Shipley of Dunlap, Darwin Shipley (Carolyn) of Palmer and Billy Shipley (Paula) of Whitwell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
