She was predeceased by: her parents, William Higgins and Timmie Panter Higgins; and her granddaughter Emily Dye. She is survived by: her husband J. T. Shadrick; her children, Jeff Shadrick (Tracy), Angelia Hannah, Rochelle Henson, John L. Shadrick and Denise Dye (Dale); her grandchildren, Drew Shadrick (Mindy), Colten Shadrick (Tiffany), Taylor Ridge (Brittany), Alex Ridge (Hannah), Jill Boller, Jenny Walker (Michael), Suzi Dye, Natalie Hannah and Jeffrey Hannah; her great grandchildren, Ryder Burns, Kaitlyn Boller and Lexi Shadrick; and her sister Joan Deaux (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard or the American Cancer Society.
