He was predeceased by: his son Chris Henry; his parents, Carl Henry and Louise Henry; and his siblings, Mary Rogers, Bessie Smartt, Stanley Henry and Bobby Henry.
He is survived by: his siblings, Doris Gholston of Sequatchie, Leonard Henry of Fort Oglethorpe, Jerry Henry and James Henry of Whitwell; and his grandsons, Chris Henry and Allen Henry. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
