He was predeceased by: his sister Joyce Smith; his grandparents, John Carl, Lilly Bell Dalton, Harry Tom and Cecil Moore; his uncles, Wendall Dalton, Robert Moore and Tommy J. Moore; and his sister-in-law Jennifer Wooten.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Moore; his children, Autumn Manis (Josh) of Johnson City, TN, Leon Moore of Sand Mountain, AL, Herbert Joe Moore and Mary Ann Moore; his granddaughter Carrie Lou Manis; his parents, Herbert Moore and Debbie Moore; and his brother Chris Wooten of Rhea County, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home (11675 TN-28, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
