With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tammy Diane Downey of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Lee Bishop of Signal Mtn and Leon Rice of Chattanooga; her brother Bobby Rice of Chattanooga; and her granddaughter Addy Downey of Whitwell. She is survived by: her husband James Henry "Jimmy" Downey; her children, Terry Taylor, Jr. of Knoxville, Amanda Cornejo (Jose) of Knoxville, James Downey (Tiffany) of Whitwell and Tabby Hatfield of Whitwell; her siblings, David Rice of Rossville and Misty Posey (Randy) of Dayton; her grandchildren, Landon Taylor, Brooklyn Newton and Aiden Downey; and her mother-in-law Christine Vaughn.
