We bid farewell to Sherman Leo Durrow of Whitwell, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 16, 2024 at the age of 80. Sherman touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Sherman shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sherman farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Tasha Durrow Andregg; his parents, Oddie Durrow and Edith Durrow; and his siblings, Irvin Durrow and Norma Jean White.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Durrow; his son Charlie Durrow (Jessica); his grandchildren, Kenna Andregg and Klate Andregg; and his sister Sue Bratton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
