She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth "Cotton" Kilgore; her parents, Pete Murphy and Cora Murphy; and her siblings, Paul Murphy, Ruth Hollingsworth, Evelynn Howard, Marilyn Johnson, Nell Henry and Peggy "Bug" Rector.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Green (Robbie) and Vicki Jones; her brother Ray Murphy (Wanda); her grandchildren, Stephen Young, Hannah Young and Richelle Wingo; and her great grandchildren, Brylie, Jaxson, Jalynn and Pierson.
