In the sacred silence of farewell, Sharon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Phillip Goforth and Minnie Ella "Sally" Saynes Goforth; her husband Thomas "Tommy" Morrison; and her siblings, Phillip Allen "Pete" Goforth, Miles "Red" Goforth and Phillis Anne Rollins.
She is survived by: her children, John David Fitzgerald and Carolyn "Renee" Allison (Sammy); her daughter-in-law Amanda White; and her siblings, Andrew "Darrell" Goforth (Jeanette), Jocelyn Dotson and Sandra Kay Rankin (Dwight). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Condra Memorial Cemetery.
