He is survived by: his children, Vickie Blanks (Dennis) of Port Orange, FL, Sammy "Boxer" Pickett of Whitwell and Eddie Pickett; his girlfriend Clara Baker of Whitwell; his siblings, Benny Pickett (Melissa), Sandra Champan and Evelyn Reese; his grandchildren, Nicholas Mosier (Nola), Richie Vaughn (Nicki) and Rachel Pickett; and his great grandchildren, Cole Ott, Madison Sendek and Blaine Vaughn of Lynette Perez, R. J.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
