It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Ellis Dempsey of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Ellis and Lula Ellis; and her husband Jerry Dempsey. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Turney (Gary); her grandson Seth Turney; her sister-in-law Pat Dempsey (Billie Dempsey); and her sister Peggy Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
