It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Leon Lofty of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Lofty and Addie Lee Lofty; his son Henry Lofty; and his siblings, Wilburn "Tunnie" Lofty, Tom Lofty, Paul Lofty, Brice Lofty and Linda Bolton.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Lofty of Whitwell; his children, Marie Lofty of Dunlap, Roy Lofty of Whitwell and Ronnie Lofty (Mildred) of Whitwell; his grandchildren, Stephanie Henry (Rick), Shaddrin Lofty, Chad Lofty, Joey Lofty, Heather Slatton, Whitney Caldwell, Ryan Lofty and Constance Lofty; and his great grandchildren, Addison Ross and Archer Henry. He is also survived by several other great grandchildren.
