He was predeceased by: his sons, Paul Mitchell and Roy Dale Herron; his grandson Tim Baranski; and his parents, William Herron and Alma Brunner Herron.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pearl Brown Herron; and his children, Virginia Layne (Joey) of Whitwell, John Herron (Deb) of Whitwell, Jeanette Phillips (Frank) of Las Vegas, NV, Phyllis Baranski (Jeffrey) of Lockport, IL and Sandra Rathmell (Stan) of Washington, IA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.
