He is survived by: his children, Eric Downum (Christie) of Whitwell and Lisa Long of Whitwell; his brothers, Donnie Downum (Joy), Dale Downum and Jim Downum (Keri); and his grandchildren, Megan Long, Kendal Long, Kaylee King and Caleb Anderson.
