He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Layne and Ollie Mae Layne; and his siblings, Sadie Kilgore of Sue Rankin, Mac Layne and Harold David Layne.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger Wade Layne, Jr. (Kelli) and Jason Todd Layne (Bretney); his sisters, Joyce, Ruth and Bonnie Kilgore (James); and his grandchildren, Ava, McKaine, Maddyn, Ella and Briggs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
