He is survived by: his children, Lucy McCombs (Cletus), Poke Pickett (Tina) of Whitwell, TN, Stacy White (Brandon) of Dayton, TN and Vickie Deforest (Jeff) of Chattanooga, TN; his sister Betty Rollins of Whitwell, TN; his grandchildren, Sandy Burden, Rose Mercer, George Pickett, Jamey Brock, Brittany Pickett of Christina Hardy, C. J, McCombs, Chris Deforest, Gracie Deforest and Gabby Deforest; and his friend Jerry Kilgore. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
