She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory B. Lanham, Sr. of Lanham's Grocery; her parents, Samuel Pickett and Myrtle Pickett; and her siblings, Carl Pickett, Mildred Andrews, Dorothy Bryant, Melvin Pickett, Carolyn Austin and Shirley Pickett.
She is survived by: her children, Gretchen "Tiny" Sims (Jason) and Gregory; her siblings, Jay Pickett, Sue Ross (Keith), Christine Landers (Lanny) and Gail Coffman (Joe); her grandchildren, Mackenzie Lanham (Chase Eich), Tucker Sims, Matthew "Tater" Lanham and Taitum Sims; her nieces, Angie Powell (Anthony) and Frankie Melton (Wade); and also Ashley. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (8150 Griffith Hwy, Whitwell, TN 37397).
