She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Dent and Bessie Fletcher Dent; her husband Freddie Ray Meeks; and her siblings, Lulene Ament, Marie Thomas, Opal Tate, Betty Savage, J. D., Lewis and Jimmy Dent.
She is survived by: her sons, Butch Meeks (Bonnie) of Whitwell and Mark Meeks (Ann) of Altamont; and her grandsons, Zack Meeks, Todd Ridge (Janice) and Michael Turner (Charlotte). She is also survived by several loving great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
