He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Thurman and Betty Thurman; and his brothers, Arville Thurman and William Thurman. He is survived by: his wife Freida Lawson Thurman; his sons, Wayne Allen Thurman and Wyatt Foster; his grandchildren, Garrett and Seger; and his siblings, Darlene Broom and David Thurman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
