He is survived by: his wife Peggy C. Long; his son Brian R. Long of Whitwell; his siblings, Omia Jean Owens of South Pittsburg, Sam Long (Jean) and Jack Long (Evelyn); his mother-in-law Nola Layne; and his godchildren, Whitney Rankin (David), Emily Pedigo (Austin) and Braylon Long. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
