He was predeceased by: his parents, George Poland and Lucy Elizabeth Poland; his siblings, Blanche Thomas, Pauline James, Margaret Poland and Tommy Poland; and his wife Clara.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Poland (Bob Amis), Paula Poland (Russell Linnemann), Clifford Thomas (Tammy) and Melissa Thomas (Tommy Morrow); his grandchildren, Maretha Rollins, Hannah Coley, Chance Rollins and Kendall Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Flanders, Carsyn Coley and Hadley Coley.
