She was predeceased by: her husband Byron Louis Hartman; her parents, James Jordan and Devota Jordan; her siblings, James K. Jordan, Jr. and Mary McCurry of Virginia; and her great grandchild Charles P. Brophy, III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Faye Henry (Doyle) and JoAnn Hartman; her grandchildren, Shelby Payne (Chris), James Calvin Hartman-Stevens (Nathan), William Dunstan and Stephanie Brophy (Charles); her great grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick" Kirkhart, Cheyenne Drake, Valerie Dunstan, Dillon Payne, Cameron Ruff, Aurora Brophy and Joey Brophy; and her sister Dorothy Nelson of South Pittsburg.
