He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Lane and Vera Lane; his wife Connie Gail Lane; his granddaughter Altum N. Lane; and his brothers, Harold "The Gorilla" Lane and Jerry Lane.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Lane (Pam), Barry Lane, Ron Lane (Eva) and Connor Lane; and his siblings, Earlon Lane, Janey Roberts (Noel) and Janice McGaffic. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
