She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Griffith; her parents, Frank Layne and Daisy Layne; her son Eddie Wayne Griffith; and her siblings, Maudie Layne, Mary Layne, Claude Layne, Spurgion Layne, Joe Layne, Junior Layne, Willie Layne and Hubert Layne.
She is survived by: her children, Shelby Hampton of Tracy City, Pat Basham (Ray) of McMinnville, Bob Griffith (Diana) of Whitwell and Gerleen Pollard of Gruetli-Laager; and her grandchildren, Pam Meeks, Terry Teeters (Brian), Tim Bouldin (Mandi), Nathan Bouldin (Morgan), Ramona Borne (Eric), Charline Birdwell and Ivan Mainord. She is also survived by two step grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren.
