It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sue Rankin (Whitwell, Tennessee), who passed away on September 5, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Layne and Ollie Layne; and her siblings, Sadie Kilgore, Mac Layne and Harold D. Layne.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Rankin of Chattanooga and Troy Rankin of Whitwell; her siblings, Joyce Ruth (Jay), Bonnie Kilgore (James) and Roger Layne of Whitwell; and her grandchildren, Seth Rankin, James Roberts and Faye Haskew.
