She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Atterton; her parents, Allen Dempsey and Leona Dempsey; and her siblings, Edley Dempsey, Lorene Payne and Helen Morrison.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Mickel (Gene) of Whitwell; and her grandchildren, Preston McCurry and Cullen McNeece. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; A special thank you to NHC Dunlap, Hospice of Chattanooga and all who helped with her care and friends.
