He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Richardson and Ealy Kilgore Richardson; his wife Evelyn Richardson; his sons-in-law, Wayne Peoples and Ronnie Billingsley; his siblings, Charlie Richardson, Homer Richardson, Hazel Jones, Mabel Hamilton, Maggie Dodson and Pearl Spangler; and his grandson Charles D. Richardson.
He is survived by: his children, Charles "Buddy" Richardson (Jeannie), Diane Peoples and Wilma Billingsley; and his sisters, Ruby Green and Edna Craft. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
