She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Long; her son Bill Long; her parents, Howard Griffith and Ruby Griffith; and her siblings, Clara Cordell (Margie Gholston), Virgil Evans Griffith and Bobby Ray Griffith.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Long Shaffer; her sisters, Diane Kilgore of Whitwell and Janice Griffith of Whitwell; her grandchildren, Ashley Gilbert, Jacob Tanner Long and Lexie Parker; and her great grandchildren, Berkley Smallwood and Timothy "Tripp" Webb III. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
