He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bobby, Gene, Hoyt and Jerry Ridge; his nephew Michael Ridge; and his parents, John Hugh Ridge and Edna Griffith Ridge August.
He is survived by: his son Levi Hughes; his grandchildren, Sophia and Chase of Tucson, Arizona; his siblings, Nancy Rigsby (Terry), Roger Ridge (Maxine) of Whitwell and Ray Ridge of Chattanooga; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn, Sonya and Brenda Ridge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
