She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Edward Basham; her daughters, Theresa Basham and Gina Basham Nolan; her parents, George Layne and Pear Lee Layne; and her grandson Ricky Layne.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Gholston (Bill) of Whitwell, Ann Smith (Wayne) of Whitwell, Pat Davenport of Whitwell, Rick Basham (Shona) of Whitwell and Randy Basham of Whitwell; her sisters, Myrtle Jeffery and Eula Gholston; her grandchildren, Tina Eggert, BJ Gholston (Connie), Scott Smith (Stacy), Angie Conner (Chris), Roger Davenport, Tim Davenport (Chelle), John Basham (Phillip), Jessy Basham (Keisha), Henry Basham, Trista Smith (Amos), Brandon Basham (Kristie), Craig Basham, Faith Basham and Cody Nolan; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Gholston (Chloe), Brad Gholston, Elijah Nunley, Shae Nungester (Josh), Amber Smith, Hannah Smith, Nikki Conner, Isaac Conner, Kailie Davenport, Blake Davenport, Trevor Davenport, Carson Davenport, Kira Basham, Ryan Basham, Kolton Layne, Katrina Smith, Landon Smith, Morgan Smith and Caleb Smith.
