She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Ellis Floyd and Virgie Virginia Ramsey Floyd; her son Billy Slatton; and her siblings, Douglas Floyd, Sr. and Caroline Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Slatton; her sons, Jason Slatton and Jeff Slatton (Becky) of Whitwell; her sister Marilyn Floyd; and her grandchildren, Dalton Slatton of Whitwell, Alex Slatton of Whitwell and Sarrah Slatton of Whitwell.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cumberland Mountain Church of God (4902 Mt Olive Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
